and now the pets.....

m'kay its time to talk about the pets!! Dana's got their webpages all done so I can add a link inside my bloggy :) If you click on the word 'pets' above, you'll be taken to the start of the webcams. Ilish's webcam is first - thats our sweet baby cat - if you click on her picture, you'll then go to her page. The same thing goes for the puppies, click on each tab, then click on the middle of the picture to go to the pet you'd like to read about.

I've had Ilish since she was a tiny kitten - she's 6 years old now. I consider myself and her 'saved' from the lives we were living - Dana to the rescue of both of us!! She and I have something in common - we let ourselves be total dominated by our siblings and had no way out other but to withdraw into ourselves. Now that we are free, we have something else in common - we both totally love the man in our lives. Dana is completely her favorite person even though I raised her from a peanut!! I am totally chopped liver when Dana steps into the room - she is completely Daddy's little cat.

Ilish can be seen most days in her webcam from 1pm to 4:30pm - we've got the camera pointed at the corner of the couch she likes to lay at and watch the cars go by - such a life she has!! Everyday when the alarm rings - she starts screaming!! Get up La!! Get up!! I need toliet love, the chance to trip you coming down the stairs, fresh water, and more food in that order!! Any deviation will result in pouting!! If Dana gets up first, it ruins her entire day :) Next comes register cooking (ie large cat blocks heat coming out of register with entire body) in the bathroom while I get ready, a little shoestring play while La puts on her shoes, and a nice whiney send off!! Most nights I find her peering through her cat hole in the kitchen door at me while I come up the stairs from the garage... and of course she's screaming for more fresh water!

Ilish doesnt know it yet... but she's about to become a sister to 2 tiny puppies in April :) Boo and Java are going to be flying in from South Dakota to join our little family in April! Right now they are 3 weeks old and just have their eyes open!! I bet you're going to be looking at the pictures and thinking 'What the heck kind of little turnips are those?!?!?!' They dont look like much right now do they?? When they get to be bigger, they will be be more recognizable as Boston Bull Terriers :)

Why are we getting 2?? Because they need someone to play with and keep them company silly!!

Why boston bull terriers?? Because, as a breed, they are awesome with children and love all people unconditional!! And I've always wanted one!!

Where did we find these?? Off the Internet of course!! There is nothing that compares to the research you can do on the Internet on any subject... and that includes dogs! Almost everything you can think of, you can find on the Internet - I have not had a bad experience yet! The breeder has been awesome about keeping us informed about whats going on with them and sends us weekly pictures :)

Boo is named for the little girl in Monsters Inc - she was born on Valentines Day of all days! She is going to be probably black and white when she grows up and probably wont get much bigger than 16 pounds. Java was born a day later on 2/15 - his name comes from Dana's love of coffee and the Java programming language :) Dana's tickled to death because he's going to have his registered name be Dana's Enterprise Java Bean - I think thats hilarous! Java is going to be black/brindle/white or just brindle and white - the breeder thinks he's going to be brindle and white. If he's brindle and white - the brindle parts of his coat will look like he's brown tiger striped :) Boo and Java are half brother and sister - have the same daddy! They WILL be fixed as soon as our vet allows it - I will NOT be raising any puppies - that would be just WRONG!!

The Boo/Java cam will be up and running around the middle of April - check back then for pics of the babies when they are in their play pen. Viewing times will be 8:30am to 2:30pm during the weekdays with breaks for potty - dont expect to see them in their play pen on the weekends or evenings cuz they will be out and about with us!! I'd like to take them with me to see T Q after work to get them use to children and to play with the Pom Poms - Happy's going to love them! But first I have to get brave and tell Mom/Sissy L I have them - the shit's going to hit the fan when that happens!!

Gots to go - bubble bath time!!
