and Tian makes 3

When Shae came home, we decided we'd wait until Aubree was at least in kindergarten before we started to talk about finding another little one to love. Another baby girl to fill the last empty spot in our hearts and our last bedroom. For some reason... God thinks we're not adventurous enough.

In May, Children's House International came out with their China Waiting Child List 18. Shae was on List 11 and I like to look at all the little people. Yeah... I know...I'm asking for heartache :). I looked at all the sweet little faces and at the end of the list was a little person listed under the name of 'Reggie'.

I opened up the file and found a face with soulful eyes that reminded me of Beesh... and strawberry blonde hair like Shae and BaiYu. Oh... crap! A little chinese boy with albinism. A boy... dear God a BOY...

Zhang HanKun.... 3 years old.... with the special need of albinism. He has the same coloring as BaiYu. He lives in TianJin province and has been in foster care. He is 7 months younger than Aubree.

We soul searched... we prayed... we said we couldnt do it because we had no more money to finance another 'surprise' adoption. No way could we do it... No... Freaking... Way...

And then we sent in the LOI for him... we named him Tian HanKun... we told the girls about the brother that was waiting for them in China...and we waited for the PA to come back while we worked on the homestudy and paperwork. Our long awaited PA came Friday after 3 looooong months. We should be DTC'd by the end of September for our son :)
