Potty Time!

Ok Aubree you are just amazing you mom and dad each and every day.

For the last couple of days you have been telling us practically everytime you needed to go potty, and sure enough you have did you thing and been dry to boot. I mean we have encouraged you to use the potty as much as we can. You have long since wanted to go, especially if you had to poo. The potty is the only thing you will use.

We have been debating on when we would start to increase frequence of your potty breaks, and times in between so you could transision you to bigger girl pants. Well you are starting to tell us yourself.

So bravo!! You make your parents so proud! Your just an amazing little girl!

Aubree's 2nd Christmas!

So this is christmas!

This was Aubrees 2nd christmas and what a year makes! Last year you were petrifidied(sp?) of Santa, and just got the concept of ripping open the presents.

Aubree you are now approaching 3 years old(4 months), and you have just been smitten by the christmas joy. After some prep talks, you and daddy went to the mall a week or so before and stood in line for about 15 minutes all the while peeking around the people in front to catch a glimpse Santa and watch the other kids telling their wishes. Finally it was your turn and you walked bravely up and sat on Santas lap and told him in quite plain and distinct words that you wanted your older sister Shae to come home. You got you picture taken, and then went and took you well deserved ride on the train. You had you reign on cabs so you choose the caboose.. You and daddy wandered the mall a bit more before going home to tell mom of your wonderful feat!.

All through the month you and momma have been taking little figurines and putting them on our tree. This year because of the rearranging and getting new furniture, a new kitty, a new doggy we decided we just couldn't do a big tree this year. So we got a small advent wooden tree. You and momma put a snowman, star, gingerman, etc for each day before christmas and you loved every minute.

Like daddy before you, you and momma got his cold and have just been miserable. Just now today have you perked up and can breathe, this after going to the doctor to get some 'biotics', since you had a fever of 103.6 earlier in the morning. Lots of drink, movies, and love later tonight you are doing pretty good.

As for Christmas itself. You helped Santa out on the eve, and left him a plate of goodness for his travels. You left him a chunked up granola bar, an orange, and a small glass milk. The stockings were hung, and ready to go around the fireplace. The next morning, the stockings were full, and presents were stacked up on either side of the fireplace. Of course santa enjoyed the nice change and healthy snack.

Aubree, you and very much enjoying your new leapPad learning system with Dora game, and tomorrow we going to learn how to play the Caribo game after we get home for school/work. We have also already read your new books a each a dozen times over :)

Finally, as usual you enjoyed the christmas eve Chop Chop place habachi grill dinner. I am positive that Shae will like it just as much at you :)
