It CAME! It CAME! Thank God in Heaven it CAME!

If anyone heard a loud, piercing scream about 3:30pm CST on Wednesday
afternoon... it was just me! Our I171H CAME and I think the
firemen heard the good news down the street I was hollaring so loud!

Off it went to the Dossier prep service in Texas as soon as Auntie CeeCee came home to notarize a copy - could we be so lucky to be DTC'd in October?

I love you Shae HongQi - just hang on honey... mama's coming even if
she has to snowshoe there through Siberia!

depressed and turning to scones for solace

*sighs* Its been 2 weeks since we've had our fingerprints taken and no
I171H in sight. The last time we did this - our H was here in a week.
And NOW Stephanie sends a message that she wants the dossiers sent
within 6 months of the LOI - we're sitting at 4 months here folks! 4
MONTHS, no H, and the dossier prep service wont autheticate a darn
thing without the H present. :(

As I sit here feeling sorry for my H-less self... I have turned my
depression towards scones... chocolate-chip scones.... ones almost as
big as my head. Onces I've scarffed the scone, I'm going to turn to
pork fried rice, a couple of popsicles, and then I'm going to sleep it
all off until I wake up either happy to see the mailman standing scared
stiff of my dogs that want to lick him to death with a big brown
envelop in his hand or hungry for more comfort food... possibly a
wildberry smoothie with whip-cream and wheatgerm sprinkles AND an
entire Big Tomato pizza - honey wheat crust, pesto and olive oil sauce,
chicken, bacon, and spinach.

B's new do

I've been trying to figure out ways to keep Aubree BiXiu's hair out of her face. Her hair is baby fine like Dadee's and it will not stay in pony tail holders to save its soul. I've tried just about everything and when I picked her up from school on Thursday and saw it stuck to her cheeks... I threw in the hair towel.

Off we marched to Great Clips! 'Cut it off' I said... 'I cant stand it stuck to her cheeks any more!' B's hair was slowly creeping to her shoulders, so in response to my demands... the hairdresser cut a sum total of 5 inches off. Yep - 5 inches. It is short and pixie like and it suits her to a T!

B's loving it - she thinks she's very beautiful and by golly she is! Mama loves it too! It was a banner day for her because she got a sucker while she got her hair cut, she was too cute when she was done, AND she got to eat at her favorite place MUSTARDS BBQ! Its amazing how much wave its got to it now that its pixie short! She's got these cute little flares over her ears that just make me want to get down on my knees and beg Andy to somehow make my hair go like that!

We're going to keep it short until 1 of 2 things happen: 1. B's hair thickens up or 2. she learns to take care of keeping her do do's in. Every little girl should be allowed to grow her hair long if she wants... or to keep it just as short :)
