Baby Bumble Bee

They sing this song at Aubree's daycare :D

Bumble Bee
I caught myself a baby bumble bee.
Won’t my mommy be so proud of me.
I caught myself a baby bumble bee,
Ouch! It strung me!

I’m squishing up my baby bumble bee,
Won’t my mommy be so proud of me.
I’m squishing up my baby bumble bee,
Eww! What a mess!

I’m licking up my baby bumble bee,
Won’t my mommy be so proud of me.
I’m licking up myself a baby bumble bee,
Blah! I feel sick!

I’m barfing up my baby bumble bee,
Won’t my mommy be so proud of me.
I’m barfing up my baby bumble bee,
Eeeuuooh! What a mess!

I’m sweepin’ up my baby bumble bee,
Won’t my mommy be so proud of me.
I’m sweepin’ up my baby bumble bee,
No more baby bumble bee!

Box #2

Hi!

Because I dont know what else to do with myself - off goes Box #2 in
Shae HongQi's general direction tomorrow. Wendy Ritz, whom I love
very VERY much and need to meet in person someday soon... sent me a
TON of great things for the orphanage - I think she sent me 20
knitted hats, quite of few knitted blankets, some outfits, a gaggle
of great plush toys, a few 'my pretty pony' ponies, and two warm twin
size blankets that will have to wait for Box #3. How she does it I
dont know... she's got SEVEN kids at home right now including a
little boy they brought home from Tawain this year, a little girl
from China who is the Original Shae (she's Shae #1, my Shae is Shae
#2 :D), and an awesome 7 year old girl from China they adopted mere
weeks ago after her original family brought her home and then
disrupted. I dont know how she manages it with 7 and I feel so lucky
to call her friend... even though we've only talked on the internet.

I'm using the address Janice posted not to long ago this time... so
again I can only kiss it good-bye and hope it makes it.... if it
doesnt make it, I hope wherever it ends up that the items can be put
to good use!

where's my I171H????

pardon Mama while she goes quietly insane...

I was thinking about whether or not we should take a coat for Shae when we travel or if the orphange will give her one to keep. I found out today that a mama got her daughter in 2001... in December... when it was 20 below out... and she came wearing 2 shirts, 2 pair of pants, and WAS WRAPPED IN A BLANKET THAT THE MAMA HAD SENT TO HER. No folks... she was not wearing a coat - she WAS WRAPPED IN A BLANKET... in 20 degrees below ZERO weather. If I was not insane from worrying before - let me assure you that I am now!

JMJ!! I'm sorry kids but sometimes Mama must cuss on your blog!

1st Fair! for Aubree

Well Aubree my dear you made it!

You made it to your first State Fair. Last year we though you were a bit too young, and would not have made it quite around the campus.

This year was different, you were a trooper. We got there about 10am and ran around til practically 4pm. Started out on the bus, Metro Transist Auth! of course, cheap and realiable. Good day for the fair, just sprinkling a little and we had umbrellas.

The count was:
Wonder Bar (on a stick)
Cheez Curds!
Homemade LemonAde
Coffee/Smoothies
Chicken Gyros
Cookies in a Cup
Corn Dogs

We hit the varied Industries Building, and the cultural building to look at all the pictures (of which I didn' get any this year). Saw the massive dominos being setup. You got the pet the goats, and see the Cebu, little Zebras, and you even got to ride your very first pony. His name was Scruffy. La would be able to tell you what kind of pony it was. We got pictures and video, as Dadee walked around the circle of ponies with you. You were such a brave widdle Girl, you climbed abroad and have him a pet, and hung on to the saddle.

Dadee and Momma are just so proud of you, and next year Shae will come too!

we survived the first 4 days of daycare!

BiXiu has journeyed into uncharted waters this week - she went to her preschool/daycare for 4 days this week and has survived!

The first couple of days werent to bad when Dadee dropped her off because it was nice outside and she could go right out to play when she got there. Dadee? What Dadee? I've got sliding and triking to do!

Yesterday was a different story... it rained and they couldnt go outside right away. Dadee drops B off at 8:15am - Mama told him not to stay longer than 15 minutes any day.... but B was having none of it yesterday! It was almost 10am when Dadee showed up at my desk yesterday... Mama had to get a Plan B together for drop off.... NOW!

Here's what Mama came up with:

1. Dadee take B to daycare
2. Dadee hand B her pink kitty
3. Dadee tell B that he is leaving for work
4. Dadee kiss B
5. Dadee say goodbye
6. Dadee walk away and not look back no matter what he hears behind him!

Dadee went through the steps this morning and was on his way in 5 minutes. B wasnt happy but she didnt cry for long so i'm told! Every day is better... its just tough going at first....
