Nothing says loving like the traditional pink puke pan in the Fisher family!
All through my life there has been Ma's pink puke pan to comfort me while I ralph. It was and still is ledgedary in at Ma's house. It was my Grandma Rose's pink plastic bowl to begin with... and then it became my Ma's. Its the perfect size for small hands to hold, has the best depth and doesnt have the funky smell that the vessel of the porcelain God has :)
Every kid needs a pink puke pan in her life, even Aubree BiXiu. This weekend she has been extremely sick and being the good mama I'm trying to be, I have come up with my own version for the pink puke pan tradition.
The Cleveland Family has the pink puke dishpan - courtesy of the hospital when Mama had her surgery a year ago. Mama's tried it out - it feels like home and works like a charm when the tummy is revolting :)
Today we went to Night Eyes at the Zoo for Aubree's first Halloween :) Fun time was had by all - Mama and Daddy were going to dress up too but our trip was kind of spur of the moment. We were suppose to go tomorrow, but Auntie Sis and BaiYu didnt start home from Beijing like they were suppose to so they could go with us.
Talen was Harry Potter, Mya was a princess, and you, my love were a beautiful little green froggy! Good lord, you were the cutest little person there today!! Said tank q to all the folks handing out candy and walked all around the zoo hanging onto Mama's pingers!

Everyone needs a routine to help them round out the day. Aubree is no exception. She has this little thing she does as momma puts her to bed.
Daddy helps get her ready for bed at night, either helping to give her a bath, or putting lotion on her, to getting her jammies on.
Momma then rocks with her in the chair, and it quickly becomes an acrobatics routine for B. They go through a set of songs, Peas/Poradge(sp?), itsy-bitsy, and the like, then mom lays her in her crib. As I said B has her routine too, for dad, she will quickly flip over and go into her turtle where she lays on her tummy, puts her arms tucked underneath her. For Momma, she will put her hands behind her head, smile, giggle, and wiggle her bum.
I love yew B, both you momma and Pader love you very much. I can her your gravelly voice mumbling away up there. ITs time to go nigh' nigh' emmm Kay?
Dad, B, and M C all have colds... again! Dad's not so bad yet, but the amount of snot coming out of both girls is just horrifying!
B's poor nose is raw - she looks just like Mama does when she gets her Yearly Christmas cold :(
Good news came today - B's updated Certificate of Citizenship came today with her name correction on it! Hooray!!
From time to time as I think of it, I will try to write down bits of what I think are good advice for you, my sweet daughter to think upon. Whether they are or they arent, is for you to decide...
When you are a bigger girl, you must remember that you are just as good as the next person. Dont walk with your eyes downcast and your shoulders slumped. You are GIRL, hear you ROAR so walk like it!
Keep your chin up, your eyes bright and alert, throw your shoulders back, and put out there what God gave you to shake.... ie get those boobies high and proud and let your bum hit its natural stride.
Slumping and taking timid steps are for the weak and unproud. You are beautiful and you should carry yourself as such. Walk like you mean it and take pride in the fact that you are who you who were meant to be. God does not make mistakes - he knows exactly what he's doing and the same goes for you my love!
Here's a list of things that are distinctly Aubree BiXiu!
1. She likes to do the mexican hat dance wherever and whenever the mood strikes.
2. Her middle toes on both feet are smaller and thinner than the toes on either side of them.
3. She loves peppermint patties - she hates rice and coco puffs
4. When she wants a bit of whatever you're having, she will make a lablablab noise with her tongue
5. She likes to walk around the house holding 2 of Mama's fingers
6. She's a whiz at household chores! At 1.5 years old she likes to poke Java in the ribs with the broom, put the duster in the dog water, lick each spoon/knife/fork as it comes out of the diswasher, and take all of the folded clean clothes out the the hamper when she thinks Mama hasnt folded them correctly.
7. She likes to lay on her back with her hands behind her head and wiggle her bum at yew as you try to convince her its time to get up from her nap.
8. Shredding paper is her passion :)
9. Her froggy impression is out of this world! Froggy consists of laying face down naked on our fleece blanket after her bath and tucking her arms and legs into the general shape of a large froggy.
10. She figured out all by herself that dumping the dog water all over the floor will get her not only extremely wet but face down in a puddle with the dogs frantically trying to dry her up with their tongues.
