No news... No news is

No news...

No news is good news I suppose! There is a rumor going around that the CCAA mailed referals on 10/31/2003 and they should be here next week. Rumor also says that Feb/Mar are combined in this batch, but we'll just have to wait and see!

Before I forget, I want to mention that both of the Grannys are coming with us to China! We are blessed that they said yes when we asked if they would like to come along for the Journey! We're gonna have so much fun together! :)

A Prayer for a Smiling

A Prayer for a Smiling Heart
by Sandra Pears-Wilson aka Baby Girl Hart

The Sun and Moon appear with each day that passes
And not a day goes by that I don't think of you
I gaze up into the night sky in awe of the stars that sprinkle the heavens
And I say a little prayer
That one day your heart will smile and dance when you think of me

I have not the power or will inside of me to give up on you
So I sit patiently by and wait for a day that I know may never come
There is still a lifetime of memories that is ours for the taking
My hand is outstretched towards you
All you have to do is take it

Inside my jewelry box is a heart pendant
Each time I place it around my neck I think about you
And when I look into the mirror
I see your face reflecting back at me
My heart smiles and I silently tell you that I love you...

And I say a little prayer
That one day your heart will smile and dance when you think of me

Are you born yet??

Are you born yet??

Grandmama asked me the other day if I thought you were born yet, Aubree. I told her I didnt know, but I hoped that wherever you were that you were safe, warm, fed, and loved. Hang in there Peanut... Mama cant make the people who grind the adoption gears work any faster - just have to hope that there is a plan and that its a good one!!

Love you suga! :* [ ]

Wall Border Fun! I tell

Wall Border Fun!

I tell you, Aubree - your Dad is a wiz at wall paper border! I took down the lighthouse border in your room Saturday and your Dad did an AWESOME job putting your new border up! Well, yah... I helped but all I did was hold up the loose end... it was Dad that got everything stuck down and lined up.

Needless to say - it looks beautiful! Its a sequence of butterfly, flower, bee, flower, ladybug, flower in really pretty pastel colors - they even match the colors in your curtains! I've saved a section of the border and a scrap of your curtain fabric in your life book for you as a keepsake of how we decorated your room while we waited for you to come home :)
